National Sandwich Day (USA)

Chorizo, spinach, avocado & tomato — CSAT - when all you want is a BLT but all you have in the fridge are chorizo, spinach, avocado and tomato.

Apparently, it’s National Sandwich Day in the US of A. I’ve a feeling the celebrations of this momentous day may get overshadowed by the devastating pummelling of the Democrats in Congress (didn’t that happen with Clinton’s administration? Tie their hands, make the government impotent!).

So a sad day for forward thinking democrats everywhere, but, hey, Happy Sandwich Day!
