Alice in the square — Les Enfants Terribles perform Alice in Wonderland in Lyric Square, Hammersmith, London

The local council where we work puts on a bit of a show for its working (and residential) population with lunchtime outdoor performances as well as laying out rows of deckchairs so we can enjoy the best (ahem) of Britain’s summer weather. Last year, they had a giant screen which showed play from the Wimbledon Tennis Championships as well as a dog puppeteer and a lookalike.

Rain or shine though, it’s a nice gesture to provide entertainment for the hard-working people in the area during their lunch break.
